Some say they see spirits in the Smoky Mountains… Others claim that people go missing at the hand of unknown creatures… Well, one thing is for sure, we will have Horror in the Hills!

Horror in the Hills is a Horror and Dark Genre international film festival taking place in Gatlinburg, TN offering awards in several categories!

For 5 years we have been working hard to build on this film festival and sometimes the best way to grow, is to minimize.  Beginning with the 2020 Season, Horror in the Hills Film Festival and The Mountain of Laughs Comedy Festival will merge with The Smoky Mountain Film Festival, to create one annual event.  With this change and some feedback from our past guests, we are also considering new venue options for 2020.  We hope you will bring your horror genre films, as well as films of any genre along with us to The Smoky Mountain Film Festival next season!
